Over the New Year period, I have acquired two new make up products, & I am ever so happy to have these in my make up collections. Both products are from Charlotte Tilbury, which has become one of my firm favourite beauty brand to go to. I will talk about the Instant Look In a Palette & the Pillow Talk eyeliner.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY INSTANT LOOK IN A PALETTE
GORGEOUS, GLOWING BEAUTY
I have been interested in Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Look Palettes, but have not got round to adding one to my collection, until I had clapped my eyes on Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Look In a Palette in Gorgeous, Glowing Beauty, it was like love at first sight. I know, I know I am being over the top here, but the choice of colours selected for this palette are truly up my alley!! Plus the majestic, holographic, starry packaging is mesmerising & captured my magpie like eyes, that I went ahead & treated myself.
This palette contains 7 pans of product, 3 of them are dedicated to the eyes, in Charlotte Tilbury’s signature Brighten, Enhance & Smoke sequence. The shades chosen for these are, a frosty pink, a mauve blush & pink maroon. The pink maroon shade captivated me instantly.
For the face, there is a warm sun kissed bronzer & 2 cheek Swish & Pop colours in a champagne pink & a warm rosy pink hue. Lastly to finish off there is a beautiful, golden highlight colour to give that instant glow.
All the colour work harmoniously together & each one blends like a dream, which allows you to create your make up look effortlessly in an instant. All the colours are beautiful & I would use this palette all season.
I love the concept of the Instant Look In A Palette, as everything is all in one place & you can do your make up quickly & easily. This also makes it a perfect for travelling & I reach for this whenever I away anywhere, as I like to travel as light as possible. If you don’t have much make up in your collection, or you like to keep things minimal, I think this product would be perfect as your only one main item as it creates a whole make look from one place.
This palette is limited edition, so if you are interested in it & considering this, then I would recommend you to get this soon. It is currently still available on Charlotte Tilbury’s website, but I am not sure how long for. I enjoy using this product & I am glad that Charlotte Tilbury has created this palette in this colourway. I actually wish she would make this permanent.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY PILLOW TALK EYELINER
This Pillow Talk Eyeliner is a recent addition to Charlotte Tilbury’s expansion to her iconic Pillow Talk line & when I saw this pencil eyeliner in this stunning smokey, berry brown shade, I knew I had it try this out. This is a unique & magical shade, which I have not seen in other brands. I love using eyeliner in make up looks as I feel it makes you presentable instantly & easily. I have come to love using brown eyeliner in the past few months as it creates a soft, subtle look which I feel is more suited to daytime looks. I still enjoy using black eyeliner, but I find that can be too bold at times. So adding this rich, berry brown shade will allow me to change it up from time to time.
The formula is soft & creamy which glides on effortlessly & it is blendable where you can buff it out, to smudge for a smoky eye look. Not only is the intense colour payoff great, but it is also long lasting & when I swatched this, it did not come off easily. I also found, upon wearing this, it lasted all day, it did not transfer nor fade, which is great as you don’t even need to top it up. This is because it contains hydrocarbon polymers which creates the water repellant film, to be able to wear in the waterline as well. However, I prefer to wear this as an eyeliner.
This rich berry brown colour is beautiful, it compliments many skin tones & eye colours. I am impressed with this product & Charlotte Tilbury & her team has done a good job with this. I love it & I don’t think you would be disappointed. I would repurchase this once I’ve finished this.
