K- DRAMA: TALE OF THE NINE TAILED FOLLOW UP

RECAP 

This K-drama is full of urban legends of mythical creatures, spirits & the afterlife. The star of the show is actor Lee Dong Wook who plays the legendary Gumiho, Nine Tailed Fox, showing his journey from being the Mountain Spirit in ancient times when he fell in love with a human girl, but tragically she had sacrificed herself to save him & Lee Yun lived through centuries to the current modern day in the hope to meet his only love when she reincarnates. 

AS THE STORY UNFOLDS

Lee Yun eventually meets his reincarnated lover, Ji A since she was a little girl, where he saved her during a supernatural, tragedy after she lost her parents through a car accident & she herself was held captive in her family home by scary spirits. She grew up & works as a TV producer, covering supernatural events & she did not give up her search to find her parents given what she had experiences with the spirits. Lee Yun helps her in her search, whilst both going through all the adventures together. 

There is plenty of tension, action, cuteness, romance depicted through all the character's & their relationship with each other, how they are related in their previous lives. You will see the deep love story between Lee Yun & Ji A, such loyal & dedicated man who waits every single day, for centuries for his love & how each strives to protect each other to the very end. Another love story intertwined between the couple, is Lee Yun's & Lee Rang's battle against each other, but their history & brotherly love, is interesting & undoubtedly touching. Are you Team Lee Yun? Or Team Lee Rang? 

OVERALL THUMBS UP !

Unfortunately there are some tear jerking moments & a sad twist to the story, but there is also a happy ending which I was glad to see. Enjoyed watching this drama, with its interesting urban legendary myths, Korean history, always intrigued to see their culture & ancient costumes. Have you watched this yet?
